These seminars provide an opportunity for the medical professional to earn continuing education credits. For more information about our Professional Education Programming, please contact: Maureen Mudd, CPMSM, Executive Administrative Assistant Upcoming Programs CONTROVERSIES IN THE ORTHOPAEDIC CARE OF THE INJURED WORKER - A one-day Workers Compensation Symposium Date: Thursday, October 23, 2008 This seminar presents examples of controversial injuries/conditions in the injured worker. M&M Orthopaedic Surgeons will discuss how to discern whether the diagnoses are work-related or not. In addition, current treatments will be explained. Additionally, the seminar includes a discussion entitled "Balancing What's Fair With What's Reasonable in the Care of the Injured Worker." Keynote speakers will present the topic from four perspectives: 1) Legislative Perspective 2) Employers Perspective 3) Workers Perspective 4) Medical Perspective. Applications have been made for 5.0 CEU hours for CCM, CRCC, CDMSC and Physical Therapists.
