Carrie Smith, PA-C, completed a dual Bachelor of Science degree in and
Athletic Training and K-12 Health/Physical Education at Wright State University
in June, 2004. She earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies July, 2010
after completing her coursework at Kettering College of Medical Arts. She is a
Board Certified Physician As
sistant and a Certified Athletic Trainer.
Carrie joined M&M Orthopaedics in February, 2011 after moving from Dayton, Ohio where she worked as as an athletic trainer for several years at the Orthopaedic Institute of Dayton. Carrie has also gained experience while working at Present Core Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Illinois prior to joining M&M.
Carrie holds privileges at Good Samaritan Hospital, Hinsdale Hospital, Edward Hospital, Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, Rush Copley Medical Center, Naperville Surgical Centre, Midwest Center For Day Surgery, Salt Creek Surgery Center, The Center For Surgery, and Elmhurst Outpatient Surgery Center. Currently, she works alongside our physicians in the Lemont and Downers Grove locations.
Outside of M&M, Carrie enjoys competing in triathlons along with her husband. Recently, Carrie raised $3500 in honor of a Leukemia patient in Ohio and was a member of the Lymphoma Society Team in Training. She is also dedicated to volunteering in her community and has participated in projects for Habitat for Humanity.
