John Arnold Sharum, PA-C (Arny) is the son of a member of the United States military, which gave him the opportunity to live in many different states before finally settling in the Midwest in the late 1980’s. 

Arny began his education at the College of DuPage, where he earned his Associates of Science in 1994. Arny attended the University of Illinois at Chicago where he completed his undergraduate degree in Biology in 1996. Arny received his Bachelor of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University in Downers Grove in 1999. 

Arny became a Board Certified Physician Assistant in 1999, and also became the newest Physician Assistant member of M&M Orthopaedics that same year. He holds privileges at
Good Samaritan Hospital, Hinsdale Hospital, Edward Hospital, Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, Rush Copley Medical Center, Naperville Surgical Centre, Midwest Center For Day Surgery, Salt Creek Surgery Center, The Center For Surgery, and Elmhurst Outpatient Surgery Center.

Outside of M&M, Arny enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He also enjoys golf, racquetball, and biking.
