Practice Emphasis: Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine
Special interest in treating sport-related injuries, problems of the shoulder/knee/ankle, and women's musculoskeletal health.
Personal Statement: I get great joy out of seeing patients recover and get back to the activities they love. In order to recover, it's important for people to understand the nature of their conditions. My job is to take the time to explain the problem and what we must do TOGETHER to promote recovery. My backgroud in physical therapy influences my treatment recommendations. I am lucky to have trained long enough ago to have developed skill in doing open surgery but embrace and utilize current arthroscopic methods when they are appropriate. I remain committed to continuing my education and seek to remain current in my knowledge.
